Pertemps is proud to partner with a well-established client located in a picturesque village near Chipping Norton. We are seeking a hands-on Production Team Leader to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations.
Role and Responsibilities:
" Leadership & Support: Provide strong leadership, support, and guidance to your team, ensuring they operate at their best.
" Operational Control: Manage daily operations, ensuring all production operators follow correct processes and procedures.
" Maintenance Coordination: Identify and report any maintenance needs or process limitations to management, ensuring smooth operation of work equipment.
" Target Achievement: Drive the team to meet daily production targets consistently.
" Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all team members strictly adhere to Health & Safety requirements within their work areas.
" Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching to team members, and support the development of new staff.
" Stock Management: Inform the accounts team when consumables are low and ensure sufficient stock levels to prevent production delays.
" Process Development: Lead and support process improvement projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
" Proven Experience: Previous experience in a Production Team Leader role within a manufacturing environment.
" Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
" Transport: Due to the rural location, candidates must have their own transport.
