Temp Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated Production Administrator to join our Temp Payroll team, responsible for processing payments to temporary employees on a weekly basis. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Run all weekly payrolls in a structured and organised manner.
- Check and reconcile daily payroll runs and produce associated spreadsheets.
- Update and maintain Payroll Schedules and Payroll Procedures Manual.
- Handle queries/escalations promptly, ensuring responses are within SLA agreements.
- Generate ad-hoc reports as required.
- Maintain the highest level of payroll security and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in Finance, HR, IT, and Operations.
- Complete additional tasks and responsibilities relevant to the role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English qualifications (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
- Experience in a Payroll position.
- Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and databases.
- Experience in administration within a process-driven environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication and numeracy skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise effectively.
- Creative problem-solving skills and resilience in handling difficult queries.
- Calm and methodical approach to daily issues.
- Eagerness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.
