The Role: The Director of Finance and Corporate Services is a new Board level role within HUC and will be pivotal to continuing to meet our strategic aims and support sustainable growth and development through the provision of effective financial management, digital, governance, corporate services, and risk management. The post-holder, together with the Executive Board will be responsible for leading our Finance, Digital and People functions, whilst supporting the development and implementing HUC's strategic plans in accordance with the vision of the organisation.

As an innovative leader in urgent care, you will drive our mission to deliver exceptional outcomes with a more business-minded approach.
You are A qualified Accountant with good first degree and significant post-qualification experience (CIMA or ACA) or an experienced Finance Manager with a higher-level qualification e.g., MBA.
An experienced finance professional with a background in financial planning and general management, you possess a robust understanding of digital best practices, HR, and governance. Your expertise in managing an organisation's finance functions—covering budgeting, cost control, audit, and statutory returns—is complemented by your strong commercial and business acumen. You will proactively position finance and digital strategies at the heart of HUC's growth and development.
Demonstrate a proven history of leading high-performing teams, adept at driving transformative change through influence, and excel in communication.
