Hgv Class 1 Driver (Accepting new passes)
Are you newly passed HGV driver with no experience looking to start your driving career? Begin your journey with us - we now accept newly passed HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client to join our well-known client's distribution site based in Severn Beach, Bristol (BS35 4DF). We are now accepting drivers who have limited experience.
HGV Class 1 Driver position can be a mixture of delivering stock or the trunking of trailers, all in a safe and timely manner. If delivering, then you will be delivering to a maximum of 3 stores per shift. You will be delivering a mixture of pallets, totes or cages to large department stores. The stock can vary from everyday household items to clothing to furniture. If trunking, this is the swapping or live load/unload of trailers around the UK.
HGV Class 1 Shift Rota: (Severn Beach, BS35 4DF)
- Monday to Friday
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Flexible working days also available
- AM or PM Shifts available
HGV Class 1 Driver Will Need to Ensure:
- The safe delivery of goods to each store into the designated loading areas.
- Ensuring the goods being delivered match against the delivery paperwork.
- The collection of empty trays, pallets or cages.
- Provide a high level of customer service that is always maintained.
- Follow all company procedures and ensuring the accurate completion of all paperwork with each shift.
- Abide by Health & Safety at all times to ensure you work in a manner that keeps you and your colleagues safe.
- Always notify the Central Office at the earliest opportunity of any delays to your deliveries or if you are unable to make a delivery for any reason.
HGV Class 1 Driver Required Skills: (Severn Beach, BS35 4DF)
- Hold a valid a C+E License
- Hold a valid Tacho and CPC card
- No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
- Assessment required prior to starting.
PAYE Rates for HGV Class 1 Driver in Bristol, BS35 4DF:
- Monday to Friday - £18
- Saturday - £20
- Sunday - £22
- Overtime After 48 hours - £22.50
