About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school in Birmingham. This is a full-time position, starting immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the educational and social development of students with special educational needs.
- Work with teachers to monitor the progress of students.
- Assist students with physical needs.
- Support students with emotional and behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with SEND is preferred.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
