Hybrid working - 2 days per week min in the office

About the Role:
The team are currently undergoing an exciting business-wide transformation, migrating from several systems to a single platform. This involves testing new integrations and APIs, as well as requiring collaboration at a cross-department level.
Outside of this there are many other interesting projects to QA, including regular releases to their mobile applications. As they start to scale, there will also be the opportunity to explore automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use a variety of test techniques to test the diverse range of changes, thoroughly documenting all test results.
- Complete all testing tasks within allocated deadlines, raising concerns or blockers with line manager and or development team.
- Take ownership for specific testing changes/ projects, providing regular updates, and giving final sign off prior to release.
- Ensure all test results and bugs are documented to standard process and are stored appropriately for later review and audit purposes (within a timely manner).
- Works with Test Lead, development team Scrum Leads, and digital development teams daily, with less frequent communication with other members of the Digital and IT teams, and Product Owners.
Key Skills:
- Experience in a tester role.
- Software testing qualification (e.g., ISTQB Certified Testing Foundation Level or Software Testing apprenticeship level 3 or 4).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and queries, API test tools such as Postman and Fiddler, and testing web applications as well as IOS and Android Apps.
- Experience writing and updating test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Organised, methodical, and self-motivated approach to work with a critical eye for detail.
