Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer
Location: Fully Remote
Job Type: 6 month contract
Our client's Business Intelligence team are looking for a talented and ambitious Power BI Developer/Analyst for a 6 month contract role (outside IR35). This person will support the BI team, with a focus on Power BI Dashboards.

- Front end PowerBI development reading data from multiple sources and data warehouse
Responsibilities
Power BI Development:
- Design, develop, and implement Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights and enhance decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective and visually appealing Power BI solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security in Power BI reports.
Data Transformation:
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI for analysis and reporting.
- Optimize and streamline data transformation processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Training and Knowledge Transfer:
- Provide training and support to team members on Power BI best practices and usage.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to empower users to create and modify their own dashboards.
Dashboard Maintenance:
- Monitor and maintain existing Power BI dashboards, ensuring they remain up-to-date and aligned with business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data sources, queries, and visualizations.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business users, to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Power BI solutions into existing systems and processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of the latest Power BI features, updates, and industry best practices.
- Propose and implement enhancements to existing Power BI solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer/Analyst, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous Power BI projects.
- Proficient in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and creating visually appealing dashboards.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of financial data such as time recording, productivity, cash flow, WIP and debt aging etc, and HR data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail in troubleshooting and optimizing Power BI solutions.
