Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer based in Goole to recruit a Group Engineering Manager to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic leader to drive operational excellence, shape the engineering strategy, and enhance site performance. Working with a diverse multi-skilled team, the Group Engineering Manager will focus on developing and implementing operational strategies to improve capabilities and performance.
Duties of the Group Engineering Manager will include:
- Leading and developing the site engineering team
- Implement effective engineering & maintenance standards
- Develop, implement, and maintain associated standards within the business.
- Manage operations budget.
- Lead and drive continuous improvement
- Financial management of site engineering function - responsible for capital expenditure for restoration and upgrade
- Comply with SHE management systems, satisfying requirements for legal compliance
- Liaison with external best practice and legislative bodies/authorities
We are keen to speak with Engineering Managers with the following:
- Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Track record of driving continuous improvement and implementing lean tools.
- Proven leader with the ability to performance manage and develop people
- Experience of technical and environmental legislation and processes
- Proven operational management experience and change management capability
This role would suit someone who is a strong decision maker, and who has successfully driven and influenced engineering teams through ambition and diligence in a manufacturing environment.
