Job Title – Regional Sales Manager (South West)
Region to cover the following areas – Devon, Cornwall, South Wales, Dorset, South Coast across to Southampton.
The company – My client are the leading foodservice and retail suppliers in Ireland with their head office in Dublin. They specialise in selling Frozen coated chicken and seafood into the wholesale / foodservice sector. Arriving in the UK in 2019 where they are building the wholesale network fairly quickly and delivering double digit growth for the business. 2023 saw a change for the UK Team and investment into the team has seen the team grow.
The role is very much face to face meeting customers, prospecting new business with both wholesalers and key end users.
You will have existing customers to manage where we will expect regular meetings where you will discuss sales performance, review ranges and discuss new products coming to the market. The role will also require you to hunt for new business to help you grow your suppler network.
Your territory will be set with an annual sales budget and your objective will be achieve this via growth in existing business and also driving new business.
Tasks include –
- Regular face to face meetings with existing and prospective businesses
- Engaging with key end user customers (this could be for example – pub chains, theme parks. Fast food chains etc.)
- Updating records and planning your activities on CRM
- Assisted sales visits with the sales teams of your customers
- Ra Ra Days – presenting to telesales teams and running incentive days
- Sales team presentations (attending customer sales meetings to present our range)
- Trade shows – attend trade show as required either your customer or assisting on other areas
- Attend our sales meetings, generally in Manchester and occasionally in head office (Dublin)
- Cooking and presenting our products.
