Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide support and companionship to a client, assisting with personal care, home management, and social activities. The position includes comprehensive training, holiday pay and pension provision.
Day to Day of the role:
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as showering, hairstyling, and nail trimming.
- Managing home tasks including cooking healthy meals, cleaning, ironing, and shopping.
- Engaging in social and leisure activities with the client, such as visiting family, preparing meals for guests, and going on walks.
- Maintaining the tidiness of the home and garden through domestic tasks.
- Driving the client to appointments and social visits using the client's wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
- Providing companionship and ensuring the client's well-being.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have your own car to travel to and from work reliably.
- Must have right to work in the UK.
- Must have 6 months experience working in the UK.
- Ability to cook and perform home management tasks.
- Must be organised, tidy, and possess a caring nature.
- Confident driving on motorways and must be over the age of 25 due to insurance requirements.
- Willingness to undertake sleepover shifts in the client's home.
