EAC are representing a Market leader in providing Calibration services within instumentation. The Company based in Milton Keynes are looking for a Product Support Technician to join their Service Delivery Team.

- Salary up to £24,000
- 9:00am till 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break

Duties for the Product Support Technician:
- Determining, agreeing and recording customers' hire requirements.
- Checking and packing goods for sales, hire and calibration orders.
- Unpacking and checking goods from suppliers and customers.
- Arranging carriage with overnight couriers and same day couriers.
- Monitoring stock levels of both sales and hire equipment.
- Preparing and sending out hire agreements.
- Preparing and sending out sales order acknowledgements and recording the ordered items in the company's stock control system.
- Liaising with customers and the lab team regarding collections & deliveries
- Checking instrumentation, Identifying faults and carrying out repairs where possible.
- Building up of electronic systems (Mostly by connecting existing products)
The Ideal Product Support Technician:
- Customer service experience, preferably in a technical services environment.
- A competent user of Microsoft software (particularly Outlook and Excel).
- Excellent communication skills and a good level of numeracy and literacy.
- Having studied a technical or numerate discipline (BTEC Level III equivalent) would be an advantage for this position.
- The ability to prepare goods for despatch and to check and record incoming goods and orders (from customers and suppliers) accurately, reliably and consistently is essential for this role.
