Reed Accountancy & Finance is seeking a dedicated and efficient Accounts Receivable Clerk for a temporary assignment with a duration of up to 2 months, based in Tenterden. The successful Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the accounts receivable process.
**Accounts Receivable Clerk
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and monitor incoming payments, and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer invoices and records.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable.
- Prepare bank deposits and perform account reconciliations regularly.
- Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions.
- Engage management over any AR problems encountered.
- Assist with month-end closing and other accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software.
- Good organisational, time management, and prioritising abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
