ASD Teacher for Specialist School in Cardiff

- Pay Rate: £157.66 - 200 per day

We are looking for a caring and nurturing Teacher to join a school in Cardiff that is known for its strong pupil-staff relationships and safe learning environment. The school is expanding with a new state-of-the-art facility, and we are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and innovative Teacher to work with pupils with additional learning needs (ALN).
Day to Day of the role:
- Teach and inspire pupils with ALN, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet their diverse needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in the development of the school's curriculum and teaching strategies, especially in preparation for the new school build.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and respects each pupil's individuality.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and ALN expertise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A passion for working with pupils with ALN.
- Experience in teaching, with an interest in ALN being more important than specific phase experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a supportive work environment.
- Commitment to high standards of behaviour and academic excellence.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- Willingness to undergo a full registration process and obtain an enhanced DBS check.
