Grafton Banks Finance are supporting an exciting business in the Worthing area; our client seeks a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant on a temporary, ongoing basis with view to be made permanent. Supporting the Finance Manager, this role will provide temporary support across accounts payable, focussing on clearing a backlog of invoicing.
Responsibilities will cover:
- Processing high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently (matching, coding etc.)
- Supplier statements and reconciliations
- Preparing weekly and monthly payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing activities.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Available and able to start a new temporary position on immediate or short notice.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
This role will offer hybrid working, after a training period that will be office-based.
