Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working with young people
  • Ability to effectively support individuals with diverse needs
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Genuine desire to inspire and support children learning
  • Interest in working with a variety of SEND conditions
  • Previous experience with additional needs is advantageous
  • Capacity to provide teaching references and work collaboratively within a team
  • Understanding of managing children with complex needs

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Provide personalized support during lessons, activities, and breaks
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs and foster independence
  • Assist with personal care and daily routines as required
  • Engage with a range of SEND needs, including non-verbal communication
  • Deliver targeted 1:1 or small group activities to enhance learning outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and achievements for assessment purposes
