**ROLE OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking an experienced AWS Billing Team Lead to oversee the efficient and timely execution of their AWS billing operations each month. This role involves collaborating with relevant teams to enhance processes, resolve billing queries, and provide high-level support to account teams and customers in coordination with the AWS Practice Head.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monthly AWS Billing Process: Manage internal processes to ensure timely and accurate invoice distribution.
  • Contract & Onboarding Management: Oversee AWS contracts and onboarding to ensure smooth and precise delivery.
  • Invoice Reconciliation: Download and reconcile invoices with billing data, including creating multiple purchase orders.
  • Order Processing: Process orders accurately according to operational procedures, ensuring correct tagging and GP allocation.
  • Excel Costing Sheets: Generate costing sheets for each customer in GBP & USD.
  • AWS Statement Reconciliation: Verify payment values against previous billing, addressing any disputes or anomalies.
  • Query Management: Act as the primary contact for AWS customer and internal queries, responding within a 4-hour SLA.
  • Data Import & Cross-Referencing: Collaborate with partners to import and cross-reference data.
  • Rebate Calculation & Claiming: Calculate and claim rebates through cash received and credit notes.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain regular contact with internal teams and external partners.
  • CRM Management: Ensure accurate opportunity logging in the CRM system.
  • Forecasting & Account Mapping: Support the AWS Practice Head with forecasting and account mapping tasks.
  • Net New Deal Logging: Log new deals with Amazon to maximize GP.
  • Marketplace Offer Tracking: Monitor all marketplace offers.
  • Report Generation: Produce reports including white space, AWS revenue, and rebate generation.
  • Customer QBR Data Preparation: Prepare data for quarterly business review meetings.
  • AMEX Payment Account Reconciliation: Oversee and ensure timely payment of AMEX accounts.

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

  • Educational Qualifications: Minimum A-C GCSE in English & Mathematics (ESSENTIAL)
  • Years of Experience: 2+ years in a similar role (ESSENTIAL)
