**About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join a dynamic Science Department from September 2025. You will provide essential support for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons, ensuring the smooth preparation and safe delivery of practical experiments.
**Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for science lessons
- Support teaching staff during practical sessions
- Maintain stock levels and ensure safe storage and disposal of chemicals
- Assist with the development of science lesson resources
- Uphold health and safety standards in all lab activities
- Ensure the science labs are clean, well-organized, and fully equipped
**Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience working as a Science Technician in a UK secondary school
- Strong understanding of laboratory protocols and Health & Safety regulations
- Confidence in handling chemicals and preparing experiments across all three sciences
- Relevant qualifications or experience in a science-related field
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one before starting
