NJR have partnered with a well established small firm of Financial Planners based in Brighhouse who are looking for an IFA Administrator to join their exciting team. They are friendly but professional and have long standing client bank of High Net Worth individuals.

The succesfful candidate will be expected to :

  • Apply for new business (whether it is direct new business or investment/pension transfers) and be able to process these on the various investment companies' platforms, taking time to ensure accuracy.
  • Carry out fund switches, client withdrawals, and liaise with investment companies to ensure client's needs are met in timely fashion.
  • Manage the office diary - set diary notes to check receipts or any instructions and deal with outstanding requirements.
  • Have a good understanding of the different types of investments and pensions. Understand how the investment companies' processes work regarding various types of application and withdrawals including pension income.
  • Prepare paperwork and arrange client reviews, and organise or improve our current process.
  • Collate management information from our back-office system, XPlan.
  • Liaise with clients in a professional but friendly manner and put together basic letters/emails, including making appointments etc.
  • Prepare emails and mail merges for regular and irregular bulletins, Christmas cards etc.
  • Update client information on Xplan.
  • Submit and chase letters of authority.
  • Check new business packs before they are issued to clients to ensure that all the necessary forms are issued correctly

The successful candidate will work alongside two other Administrators and will be responsible for providing day-to-day admin support for two IFA's & two Paraplanners. They are looking for someone who has previous experience as an IFA Administrator and who is comfortable working as part of a team. The successful candidate would need to have excellent communication skills, including written communication and a strong attention to detail. Familiarity with Provider Platforms and back office systems would be required.
