Business Development Manager

My client is an award-winning MSP who accumulate over $6.4 billion dollars every year. This is an exciting role that won't be on the market for too long.

As a Modern Workplace BDM, you will be responsible for uncovering and solving business and technical problems for new and existing customers. You will understand customer goals and challenges within your area of responsibility providing solutions, with our strategic vendors, to meet the requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, driven individual to support the growth of our Modern Workplace business across all areas.

Responsibilities

  • You will work across all areas of Modern Workplace to create a cohesive message and go to market, linking in wider Pre-Sales teams such as Software and Security, for joint collaboration activities/initiatives
  • Whitespace across our Modern Workplace portfolio and identify opportunities within our existing account base
  • Through your knowledge of solution selling, lead and develop our EUC business and attach services with templated offerings at all points of the customers device life-cycle journey
  • Support sales teams and customers in their AI PC strategy and articulate innovative compute solutions.
  • You will work closely with our key vendors and partners, such as Microsoft Surface, Dell, HP, Lenovo, to bring their offerings to our account managers and customers.
  • Drive As a Service (aaS) and device management solutions across all areas of EUC, from financing to attach subscriptions and maintenance services
  • You will identify and pursue new business opportunities within our existing customer base and target new prospects in the EUC market. You will support Account Managers in EUC tender responses and proposal creation and delivery as the subject matter expert.
  • You will educate and train our sales teams on how to position our EUC solutions and services and support them throughout the device life-cycle journey
  • Alongside Marketing, you will create and execute campaigns and events to generate leads and awareness for our EUC portfolio.
  • You will maintain and update our EUC strategy, portfolio, and templates, in alignment with market trends and customer needs.
  • Drive attach revenue opportunity for service packs, warranties and peripheral items.
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, and act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • Must be organised, adaptable, flexible and a good team player.
  • Ability to plan and manage time effectively.
  • Good analytical skills, able to make sense of data and report on it.
  • Ability to manage and track lead generation and a sales pipeline through CRM or a sales management system.
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to develop and implement business plans in line with overall company objectives.
