An exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to join a highly profitable & growing £10 million turnover E-Commerce SME as a Finance Director in a newly created role due to growth.

Working closely with the MD, the successful candidate will have full responsibility for, amongst other things, managing one direct report, end to end management of the month end process, financial accounting and controls, preparation of statutory accounts, review of finance processes to streamline and automate, provision of financial information to key stakeholders, providing an insightful business-partnering service to budget holders and shareholders across the business and some tax including VAT & corporation tax.

This position involves a broad spectrum of operational responsibilities and requires a wide range of knowledge and experience. It also requires an 'all hands to the pump' and 'no job is beneath you' attitude, borne of the experience of working in SMEs.

Your Experience...

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience working in an SME environment
  • Interpersonal skills to support, advise and influence managers from different parts of the business whilst providing strong financial control where necessary
