Your new company
You will be working for a large public sector organisation in Glasgow as an Events Assistant on an initial 6 month contract basis.
Your new role
You will be responsible for providing professional support in the delivery of a range of stakeholder engagement events. The individual will lead and co-ordinate a wide range of lunchtime concerts and ad-hoc events for the organisation, ensuring their brand and reputation are enhanced to all stakeholders. The individual will also be required to assist with the on-the-day operational delivery of other events as delegated.
- Responsible for the successful delivery of a number of concerts, taking ownership of the end-to-end process to ensure successful delivery and achievement of key goals.
- Responsible for production of concert proposals, delivery plans, briefing notes and post-concert evaluation reports for all managed concerts.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success. In addition to:
- Relevant experience in the event industry or HE sector in a similar role.- Experience of working in a busy team environment.
- Experience of organising high-profile events for up to 500 attendees.
- Experience of dealing with external agencies and suppliers in relation to event delivery.
- Direct experience of working in a customer-focused events or stakeholder engagement environment.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered an initial 6 month contract paying £16.32 per hour which will be paid to you via Hays weekly timesheets. This role is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
