Our client a successful construction company seeks a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. With the offer of a study package for ACCA/CIMA you will gain a wide range of experience and actively support the finance team.
Tasks will include:
- Purchase ledger end of month reconciliations and payments
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Support finance team bank reconciliations and petty cash
- Subcontractor application checking and posting
- Surveyor payment notice processing
- Subcontractor HMRC and bank detail verification
- Post, reconcile and pay staff expense claims
- Calculate and post supervision recharges
- Maintain a database of subcontractor insurance
- Taking on new responsibilities as the role expands.
- Gain an accounting qualification
- Producing management accounts and ownership of one of our smaller entities.
- Support the finance Director and Financial controller with ad hoc tasks

- Must be IT literate including Excel
- Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment
