THE GIG

As our Business Solutions Specialist for Order management, you will add value to the business through driving technology and process efficiency improvements in line with the Business Strategy as part of the Order management team. The role involves supporting the BAU and continuous business and systems improvements initiatives globally across all Ecommerce and omni channel areas. You will help manage the functional enhancements from defining business and systems requirements right through to UAT, training and implementation. As our

Business Solutions Specialist for Order Management

you will be responsible for:

  • Assist the product owner with continuous improvement initiatives and change projects within the technology stack, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Aid in designing and delivering technology solutions that add value, aligning with business objectives.
  • Assist in identifying, analysing, and documenting business and technical requirements, including processes, specifications, designs, configurations, security protocols, reports, and training documents.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing through proactive cross-functional communication and thorough documentation, supporting both agile methodologies and adherence to change control policies.
  • Provide day-to-day support, manage system bugs, work with development teams on design changes, and regularly check in with business stakeholders to report on continuous improvement efforts.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

Put simply, for this role the key things we're looking for are:

  • Experience with order management systems (preferably IBM Sterling), ecommerce E2E processes, order management gateways, payment providers, CRM systems, and omni-channel implementations or support.
  • Familiarity with D365 or similar ERP systems; experience working in an agile environment with tools like Jira.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and attention to detail and output quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex ideas, issues, and designs to diverse audiences, effective interaction with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Innovative, creative, and forward-thinking; ability to manage multiple complex tasks, meet deadlines, work well under pressure, and self-manage while being a proactive team player.
