Your new company
A well-known and highly reputable organisation, based in either Ferndown or Wareham, are seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role but travel to the offices is a requirement.
Your new role
In your new role you will be reporting to the Financial Accountant and assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts. You will be assisting with the preparation of ONS returns, VAT returns as well as other quarterly submissions. Other key responsibilities include balance sheet reconciliations, supporting with budgeting, fixed assets and monthly journals. There may also be other ad hoc duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience working in a similar role. You will ideally be studying AAT or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA. You will have excellent IT skills including Excel (pivot tables and Vlookups) and experience of data analysis and financial reporting. You will be a strong communicator and able to prioritise and manage your own workload.
