We are looking to recruit a skilled Interim EMEA Financial Controller on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract to take ownership of our financial operations across the region. Key Accountabilities:
- Own the EMEA financials and consolidated accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Lead and develop a team of 6 in the UK, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the production of monthly Management Accounts and annual corporate statutory group reporting.
- Lead M&A accounting activities across geographies, ensuring seamless integration and compliance.
- Collaborate with external accountants to maintain compliance with local tax regulations.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger and financial statements.
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports for clients, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure maintenance of accurate financial records in line with GAAP and facilitate effective information flow across departments.
- Analyse and recommend enhancements to accounting and reporting processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee the consolidation of ESG metrics in collaboration with relevant Business Units.
- Drive initiatives for standardization of reporting and operational efficiencies.
Candidate Background:
- Qualified accountant with substantial post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Experience working in fast-paced, ever-changing environments, preferably in a startup context.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders at an international level.
