We are looking for a Delivery Lead for a 12 month contract, based on site near Heathrow 2 days a week.
Accountabilities:
- Leadership and Co-ordination of Suppliers
- Ensure IT capability required to enable Heathrow to achieve business priorities, is successfully delivered by our supply chain partners
- Review and agree the project delivery plan to support delivery of all aspects required to realise the defined business outcome, including all client (i.e., Heathrow) activities such as business change
- Ensure smooth and efficient transition after completion into business-as-usual support
- Create and maintain a safe working environment and care for the wellbeing of others
- Project Sponsor and Stakeholder engagement
- Working with key partners to understand and define the business needs and deliver benefits and outcomes to the business
Experience and Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience of leading the delivery of a portfolio of multiple projects of multi-million-pound value using agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
- Validated experience of delivering projects in highly complex and fast-paced environment
- Validated experience of working in an outsourced model either as a client or supplier
- Accountability for all aspects of project delivery including financial management and commercial negotiation
Desirable:
- Experience in project management processes i.e. risk management, change control, quality management, test management, etc.
- Experience of successful engagement with senior and challenging internal and external partners
- Experience of working either in aviation, logistics and/or regulatory environment
- Experience of big data, cloud, and automation projects
- Experience or exposure of working in matrix environment
