Debt Trainee/Adviser (35 hours)

Type of Contract: 12 months fixed term

Salary: £24,500 - £28,400 p.a. dependant on experience.

Hours per week: 35 (Full Time)

The Role:

Citizens Advice Knowsley is funded by the Money and Pensions Service to delivery debt and money advice and are looking to recruit a Debt Trainee/Debt Adviser to provide an efficient and effective advice service to the residents of Knowsley.

Working from our offices in Kirkby and Huyton, this is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have a passion for delivering an exceptional, personalised customer experience. In return for your desire for success, we will make sure you receive all of the training and coaching you need to fit right into our team and to deliver casework covering the full range of debt advice, leading to industry accredited qualifications.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Effective oral & written communication skills: with emphasis on negotiation, representing and preparing reviews, reports & correspondence.
  • Ability to use IT Systems: Microsoft Office - proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Ability to prioritise own work, meet deadlines and targets, manage caseload, monitor and maintain own standards.
  • Experience of providing good customer service: Face to Face / Telephone / email
