Senior Business Analyst

Reed Professional Services are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our client on a key project within the Technology function, focusing on the Universal Service Obligation (USO). This role requires a professional who can navigate complex problems, drive digital transformation, and optimise processes while working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Navigate through complex problems to find solutions and present options.
- Work with data tools such as Terra Data, Docker Hub, and Mail Mark.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, optimise processes, and enhance user adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver complex projects within budget and time constraints.
- Conduct impact assessments for Mail Mark reporting, Terra Data, Docker Hub.
- Gather requirements and process mapping using up-to-date Business Analysis techniques and methods.
- Work within both Waterfall & Agile project environments to bring applicable best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Credibility and gravitas to work with a demanding internal client base and complex external supplier base.
- Experience as a Lead or Senior Business Analyst in large retail or logistics organisations, or in Supply Chain Distribution.
- Proficiency in business process modelling – UML/BPMN.
- Stakeholder management experience up to senior manager/director level.
- Strong interpersonal skills including communication, influencing, collaboration, listening, and conflict management.
- Experience in business change and transformation projects.
- Vendor/Supplier management experience in a multi-supplier environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to work.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to understand software integration and data mapping.
- Focus on understanding non-functional as well as business requirements.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in retail or logistics.
- Previous consultancy work experience.
