Multi Trade Operative - Kitchen Fitter

Your new role
As a Multi-Skilled Operative in the Planned team, you will:

  • Carry out all traditional duties of a multi-skilled fitter, primarily wet trades.
  • Perform carpentry work, including:
  • Boxing & Bath panels
  • Studding
  • Skirtings & Doors
  • Related finishes
  • Conduct wall and floor tiling to an excellent standard.
  • Install shower trays.
  • Fit kitchen worktops

To ensure all work is completed to an excellent standard. Where further work is required contacting Supervisors and agreeing on site with customer.
Leaving all sites clean and safe at the close of each day's work shift. To be flexible around working hours to ensure that works are left at a suitable point each day.To ensure that work is carried out in accordance with all Health and Safety at Work regulations and codes of practice

What you'll need to succeed

  • Completion of nationally recognised trade qualification or an approved certificated qualification (or time experience)
  • Working knowledge of current building regulations, construction industry safety regulations, relevant British standards and codes of practice
  • Experience of a social housing repairs and maintenance environment.
  • Have multi skilled experience i.e. completing different trade work
  • Outstanding customer care skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Need to pass BASIC DBS
