Learning Manager

I am on the lookout for a Learning Manager, open to their next 12 month FTC in Bristol!

You will play a pivotal role in my lovely clients tech transformation programme. This role is essential in supporting the integration of technology and systems, as well as fostering the behavioural and operational changes across the organisation. You will lead the creation and execution of top-tier learning programmes and an L&D roadmap that aligns with their objective to become a high-performing, high-capability organisation and continued exceptional place to work.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to prepare and implement learning strategies within an Academy that promotes growth for all employees.
  • Develop future capabilities in our people to meet the strategic objectives of the Programme.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to manage the full learning cycle, from designing to delivering content that supports the adoption of new systems, behaviours, and ways of working.
  • Support the design and delivery of diverse learning methods, including coaching, mentoring, job shadowing, and online to face-to-face learning.
  • Work with third-party learning providers to identify suitable learning solutions in collaboration with SMEs or functional project leads.
  • Coordinate with the Learning & Development Coordinator to organise live learning events and workshops, and to make new online learning accessible.
  • Facilitate workshops and small group learning events, implementing a blend of learning activities from job skilling to management development.
  • Manage Software Trainers, including full line management responsibilities and resource management across various projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and coach at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with attention to detail and presentation.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a risk assessment and informed planning approach.
  • Tenacity to drive change and initiatives independently while keeping the team engaged.
  • Professionalism in delivering quality and rigour in all tasks.
  • Resourcefulness with multiple solutions/ideas and a determination to complete tasks.
  • Courage to challenge the status quo skillfully when necessary.
  • Experience in line managing teams across multiple projects.
  • Proven experience in driving large-scale behavioural change.
  • Agile working experience.
