Are you an Account Handler with commercial insurance knowledge, seeking a new opportunity in Liverpool?
NJR Recruitment are a specialist insurance recruiter and we are currently supporting a national insurance broking group in their search for a Commercial Account Handler to join their Liverpool-based operation.
As Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for handling renewals and managing mid-term adjustments on behalf of a range of different commercial clients. You will need to ensure existing clients are retained and new business is written through developing strong working relationships and providing an outstanding service.
This is a great opportunity which will suit a current Account Handler with a good grounding in the commercial insurance broking industry and experience of dealing with a mix of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling renewals and managing mid-term adjustments for clients, determining the right solution, structure, and price to meet each clients' individual needs.
- Providing a high-quality service to each and every client, covering all details of their insurance requirements to advise and secure the right cover at the best price.
- Developing effective working relationships at all levels with clients, prospects and insurers.
- Working proactively with colleagues across the business to identify growth opportunities.
Skills and Experience:
- Insurance broking experience is essential, working as an Account Handler.
- A good grounding and knowledge across a range of commercial insurance products is required.
- Excellent client service and communication skills, able to develop effective working relationships with a mix of people.
- Well organised with effective time management skills.
- Experience of using the Acturis platform would be great too.
