Key Responsibilities
The main duties for this Financial Planning and Analysis Manager role are:
- Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support decision-making at both operational and executive levels.
- Collaborate with department heads to create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and cost optimisation.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive the implementation and enhancement of financial planning systems and tools.
- Support strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and other ad-hoc projects as required.
Key Requirements
The key requirements for this Financial Planning and Analysis Manager are:
- A recognised Accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Proven experience in a similar FP&A role
- Strong analytical and modelling skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
