Trainee Water and Leisure Consultant

Birmingham, West Midlands

Paying up to £25,000; full-time permanent role

HR Careers & Nationwide Recruitment Service have an exciting new opportunity for a talented water and leisure administrator, to join a first class company.

As the first point of contact for the Water and Leisure team, you will be self-motivated, professional and helpful to all of the enquiring, potential clients and customers. Providing various information such as contact and addresses and to redirect queries as necessary.

Supporting the administration of the water and leisure commercial services and safety information, providing support to members and colleagues to identify and develop commercial leads.

The role requires someone who has excellent attention to detail, to be responsible for up-to-date records of work, enquiries, requests and database maintenance. Forwarding necessary enquiries to relevant teams and drafting responses to requests for advice and enquiries received.

Identify potential water and leisure sales opportunities from contacts received, forwarding to the Sales team

To receive training for and carry out desktop reviews (including report writing and reviewing CAD drawings, photos and aerial views). Conduct these reviews independently post-training.

To receive training for and carry out on-site SuDS/water safety reviews. Conduct these reviews independently post-training.

To undertake training courses for H&S qualifications (NEBOSH general certificate, NVQ L6).

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

English and Mathematics GCSE levels or equivalent

Skills and Previous Experience required to perform duties satisfactorily

Computer literate - databases and email.

Excellent verbal (telephone manner) and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Experience in office procedures and administration.

Ideally, any previous NEBOSH or SuDS or water safety experience would be advantageous but not essential

Any H&S qualifications would be advantageous however you will need to be willing to undertake training courses for H&S qualifications (NEBOSH general certificate, NVQ L6).

Any CAD experience or reviewing aerial photos would be advantageous.

Office based in Birmingham with some UK travel.

As a primary point of contact interpersonal and presentation skills are expected to be very high. The job holder must be able to drive with a full clean driving license and have access to a suitable vehicle to attend site visits.
