As a Cover Supervisor you will also be required to:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons to students in the absence of the usual class teacher
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
- Providing support and guidance to students, both academically and emotionally
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience
- Managing the classroom behaviour following the schools policies and procedures
The successful Cover Supervisor will need:
- To be degree qualified or hold a Teaching Assistant qualification OR have experience working with and supporting children and/or young adults
- A genuine passion for education and a desire to inspire students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work in different schools and adapt to various teaching environments
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
