Part-Time Bookkeeper

Overview

A great opportunity is now available for an organised, confident individual, looking to work within a close-knit team in a nation-wide health-care agency. Within this Part-Time Bookkeeper position, you will gain exposure to new accountancy systems and develop your knowledge while working in a family environment.

The successful candidate will be a phenomenal communicator, who enjoys dealing with queries from both internal and external sources, has a proven track record of meeting deadlines and has experience with time-sheet management. You will manage the full end-to-end payroll of both weekly and monthly staff, as well as ensuring all reconciliations are completed in a timely manner. The candidate will also have involvement with cash allocation, as well as credit control responsibilities.

You will be an integral part of a loyal, fast-paced team, closely working with the Finance Manager to provide the best services to all employees. This is perfect chance to put your payroll and bookkeeper skills to the test, in a new challenging environment.

Skills required

  • Experience within a similar position, with knowledge of time-sheets, reconciliations and invoices.
  • A brilliant understand of payroll terminology including KIDS & RTI, which will help you come in and hit the ground running.
  • A great understanding of Microsoft Excel, as well as experience on SAGE/Xero would be beneficial.
  • Have great time management and organisational skills to hit deadlines and manger high voluminous work, as well as taking full responsibility for different processes.
  • The ability to work autonomously, with close attention to detail, ensuring all information is checked and correct.
