THE COMPANY:

We are a leading independent Northern Foodservice wholesaler - with an established reputation for quality products and excellent service.

We provide a comprehensive range of food products to the hospitality sector with a strong focus on breakfast and lunchtime goods.
This means that we are particularly effective in servicing cafes, delis and schools, amongst a host of other types of accounts.

Due to our strong levels of service combined with competitive pricing we have a loyal customer base, a high volume of which have traded with us for many years.

We are seeking to add an experienced Foodservice sales professional to our team - to support with further growing and retaining business with our customers.

THE ROLE:

This role is focused on retaining and growing share of wallet with existing accounts whilst at the same time spotting opportunities to gain new customers.

You will target the account base area by area and spend an intensive amount of time thoroughly meeting customers within these territories.

You will also be supported by an established and effective telesales/customer service team who have great relationships with customers on a daily/weekly basis.

You will be targeted on growth of sales volume across the account ledger - and be working closely with client contacts including owners, buyers, head chefs and contract catering manager.

THE APPLICANT.

We are ideally seeking to speak to proven sales professionals with experience selling into the foodservice and catering sector.

  • Candidates with a proven track record in Foodservice field sales are of strong interest
  • Candidates with a proven track record in other Field Sales disciplines (including Drink or FMCG) are also welcomed
  • Candidates with experience in sales to the hospitality sector are of particular interest.
  • Candidates must have strong business development skills and drive to achieve new business.
  • A background working for a foodservice food manufacturer or wholesales is preferable.
  • Candidates must be driven, energetic sales professionals able to plan and implement their own journey plan.
