Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- To provide a range of calculations to support our design proposals, to identify necessary amendments and to assess impacts to the proposed solutions.
- Undertaking integrated modelling, preparing calculations, reports, specifications and drawings.
- Provide input into risk assessments and method statements/O&M manuals as appropriate.
- Task management and delivery to the highest standards, demonstrating all round technical competence and financial awareness.
- Prepare client and project proposals, including feasibility studies.
- Production of Internally & Externally facing Reports.
- Support the Westgate Global Product/Materials Testing Programme.
- Requirements to attend occasional site meetings and site inspections.
- Support the production of Temporary Works Designs and Design checks.
- Support work winning activities and the estimation team by ensuring the suitability of our proposed products and solutions for a potential client's site environment.
- To contribute to the standardisation of our products, as part of a development team.
- To undertake tasks and projects as allocated by the Structural Engineer.
