I am on the search for a dynamic HR Operations Manager to lead and enhance HR and operational functions at my clients growing firm. This pivotal role involves managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will work closely with directors to implement comprehensive policies, processes, and systems essential to the employee lifecycle, delivering outstanding, compliant, and effective HR service to all stakeholders.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement HR operational strategies and relevant policies.
- Manage end-to-end HR processes including job postings, recruitment, hiring, and onboarding.
- Set up workstations and organise systems and permissions for new starters.
- Manage the appraisal system, support appraisal meetings, and provide feedback.
- Ensure compliance with employment regulations and liaise with external stakeholders for student placements.
- Handle internal payroll processes and complete various weekly and monthly reporting.
- Monitor employee relations aspects like attendance, sick leave, and performance.
- Resolve conflicts, manage disciplinary processes, and handle formal grievances.
- Review and set pay structures and employee benefits.
- Act as a trusted advisor, fostering a positive and motivational work environment.
- Support performance management processes and oversee benefit packages.
- Design and implement training programs and manage professional training compliance.
- Provide leadership, mentor HR team members, and lead on inclusivity and diversity initiatives.
- Manage facilities, ensure compliance with safety standards, and support marketing and business development activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher.
- Proficient in HRIS software and knowledgeable in Employment Law.
- Strong experience in employee relations cases.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
