An exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic and driven General Manager with a passion for the travel industry. This is a dynamic role, overseeing all operations across the team and playing a pivotal role in my client's ambitious expansion plans.
Duties for this role include but are not limited to:
- Oversee all sales, marketing, new product development, and operations.
- Ensure the annual budget is met as agreed with the Group Board.
- Prepare in advance for events
and attend when necessary.
- Actively participate in the Group's leadership team, including
attending meetings
,
developing professionally
, meeting deadlines, and sharing knowledge.
- Develop, communicate, and deliver a clear medium and
long-term business plan
that stays relevant and achievable.
- Represent the company
professionally, stepping in for other leaders when needed.
- Lead and manage the team, including planning resources, organising tasks, and setting up event schedules.
- Work with other brands
or teams to achieve business goals and support the Group's overall ambition.
- Any other duties required.
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Previous experience
in a similar role and industry
- A desire for continuous learning and professional development.
- Be committed and have a strong work ethic
- Able to manage staff effectively.
- Good administrative and organisation skills.
- A passion for the
travel industry.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- IT competent
and proficient using Microsoft packages.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
