Our client is a leading precision engineering firm which specialise in high-quality CNC machining services. Due to ongoing success, they are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join their team.
(CNC Miller) - Position Overview
- Set up, operate & program CNC milling machines to manufacturer precision components.
- Adjust machine tools and equipment when required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
- Self-inspect own work, ensuring components are accurate against specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health & safety regulations.
(CNC Miller) - Position Requirements
- Experience in a precision engineering environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming, set up and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail & problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
(CNC Miller) - Position Remuneration
- Company pension scheme
- 40 hours per week
- £32,000 to £38,000 (DOE)
- 20 days holiday plus bank
