I have recently partnered with an alternative investment manager who is passionate about backing early-stage technology companies.
The company is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to complement their successful team.
Your new role
The role is to build, maintain and monetise relationships with intermediaries in your allocated regions, (London and Southeast), flexing your approach subject to product availability and/or marketing focus.
The role will include:
- Developing the UK clientele of wealth management firms and professional advisers, to secure panel inclusions and sales of funds.
- Servicing a wide range of nationwide channel partners with the ability to travel and manage forward diary planning
- To always represent the Firm in such a manner and that you promote the name awareness, reputation and brand of the Firm for the benefit of the whole business
- To acquire and enhance your own and the Firm's skills in communication
- To build your own professional competencies, selling skills and investor servicing abilities
- To develop and use your writing and communication skills to promote the Company and its services
- To be at the forefront of industry and sector knowledge

What you'll need to succeed
- Proven track record in sales/ AUM fund-raising
- Understanding of Venture Capital and EIS
- Knowledge of IFA / Wealth manager market
- Strong presentation skills, both to wealth managers and investors
- Strong team player
