Senior Manager, Clinical Site Liaison

Sr. Manager, Clinical Site Liaison / United Kingdom / up to £95000 per annum (DOE)

Our client, a leading global biotechnology company, is seeking an experienced professional with proven global clinical site networking and engagement experience. Reporting to the Senior Director of Clinical Site Management and Monitoring, the Clinical Site Liaison will support global expansion initiatives by providing local clinical operations expertise and sponsor oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Building: Develop a network of investigative sites through strategic outreach and engagement. Participate in local investigator networking opportunities and study-related meetings.
  • Site Engagement: Act as the key contact for investigator sites, providing continuous knowledge, training, and support.
  • Feasibility and Planning: Contribute to feasibility activities and the development of Site Engagement Plans to drive successful recruitment and study conduct.
  • Site Selection and Oversight: Lead site selection, qualification, and ongoing oversight of study conduct.
  • Operational Support: Optimise site and patient experience by understanding key country/site-level information and addressing issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality conduct of clinical studies as per protocol, GCP, and regulatory requirements. Support QA audits and regulatory inspections.

Ideal Person:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or health-related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the bio tech/pharmaceutical industry and/or global clinical research trials.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Strong knowledge of FDA, EU, and GCP ICH guidelines and regulations.
  • Therapeutic expertise in infectious disease/vaccines, oncology, rare, autoimmune, and/or cardiovascular disease areas preferred.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
