Managing Quantity Surveyor
Civil Engineering Contractor
Location: Kenilworth, Warwickshire
Day rate: £400 - £450 LTD / CIS
Project: HS2
Long term contract
Randstad are currently looking for a experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to work with a an established contractor on HS2 in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. As part of the commercial team you will be responsible for managing a range of Structure packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial management of large-scale civils packages on HS2
- Manage all aspects of project finances, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage subcontractor accounts
- Provide strategic commercial advice to the project team
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure smooth project delivery

Experience required:
- Proven experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor in the civils or infrastructure sector
- Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts
- Experience working on large, complex projects (HS2 experience is advantageous)
- Excellent commercial and contractual acumen
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines effectively
