Recruitment and Compliance Co-Ordinator

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Recruitment and Compliance Coordinator, the role supports the wider team in attracting and selecting talent into Arrow Support Ltd, ensuring that all compliance standards are met due to the regulated nature of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll be the first point of contact for new candidates that respond to adverts or applies for positions within the business, you'll manage the selection process, ensuring all new joiners are fully compliant and ready to join our team to support vulnerable adults.

  • Provide a responsive service and working towards a target of first contact to be made within 24 hours of receiving an application or expression of interest.
  • Telephone screen candidates and progress suitable candidates through the selection stages, including conducting a formal interview, documenting the interview outcomes and providing candidate feedback.
  • Use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and to track and manage the process of applications and make sure all contact is documented and provide reports as required.
  • Ensure that all CQC and any other regulatory guidelines for safer recruitment are adhered to at all times to including conducting referencing checks, right to work and following up on gaps in employment history and non-compliant references.
  • Obtain compliant documents to submit enhanced DBS checks on behalf of the candidate.
  • Review the outcome of the DBS check and work closely with the Registered Manager to complete additional forms and risk assessments where needed.
  • Participate in the delivery of the induction to new employees as appropriate to your role.
  • Plan and book all new employees onto all necessary training to ensure they are compliant to work for the business.
  • Plan and book all existing employees onto all necessary and recommended training and repeat (renewal) training as required in order for all employees to remain compliant with both minimum and preferred training requirements.
  • Plan and make arrangements for all employees to remain complaint with safe employment standards in order to safeguard the people we support, such as:
  • Liaising with existing employees to organise required document for submission of repeat DBS application
  • Liaising with existing employees to obtain documentation such as new driving license and passport evidence on expiry of old evidence.
  • Complete Share Code checks as requested or required for employment and DVLA status
  • Have an active professional presence in the local community with the purpose of promoting the business and attracting potential employees, including attending local job events, in addition to other attraction methods such as updating Social Media around job vacancies.

We'd love to hear from you if you have some recruitment experience, gained in agency or in-house and you'd like to blend your administrative skills, with the compliance element of the role.
