Our client is the Nation's most trusted supplier of alternative drinking water. Due to exceptional growth and increased seasonal demand, they are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team for a fixed-term summer cover role with an immediate start. The role would suit someone with sales/customer service experience and a good level of computer literacy in order to keep company CRM up to date.

Inbound Sales & Customer Experience (3 month FTC)

£27k pro rata | 3 month FTC | Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30 | Potential for overtime | Earles Colne | 23 day annual leave, plus Bank Holidays (pro rata) | Fast paced environment | Customer service | Order processing | Updating CRM | Administrative support

The Inbound Sales and Customer Experience Representative will be responsible for receiving inbound sales inquiries, following up on customer enquiries, processing orders, updating the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and some general administrative support.

This role does not involve outbound prospecting or cold calling.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-centric attitude, and a keen eye for detail. There is potential for this role to extend or become a full-time position.

Duties (include but are not limited to)

  • Inbound Call Handling: Receive and respond to inbound sales calls, providing information and assistance to potential and existing customers.
  • Sales Follow-Ups: Conduct follow-ups on customer inquiries and orders to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve any issues and book jobs.
  • Order Processing: Accurately process online and email orders, ensuring all information is correctly entered into the system.
  • CRM Updating: Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system, ensuring all interactions are documented and information is up-to-date.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs, providing clear accurate and timely information.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure seamless customer service and sales processes.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback and share insights with the team to improve our products and services.

Person Specification

  • Some previous experience in customer service and/or, inbound sales is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; detail-orientated with strong organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and good computer skills.
  • Positive, customer-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite/SharePoint/Teams.
