Why Apply?

  • Working Hours:

Monday-Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
(39 hours per week with a 30-minute lunch break)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer and supplier orders, delivery requests, and manage customer accounts to meet service level goals. Create and update orders in line with company procedures, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Respond promptly to customer queries.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and staff to ensure smooth communication and operations.
  • Monitor stock levels, notify relevant departments of product availability concerns, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability.
  • Perform general office tasks such as visitor reception, filing, scheduling meetings, and covering staff shortages during holidays or sickness.
  • Update data via Excel, input customer information, and order statuses in CRM systems.
  • Raise PO numbers and process invoices.
  • Ensure that all orders, documentation, and transactions comply with company policies.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Directors to support team objectives.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong telephone handling skills with the ability to communicate clearly and assertively
  • Highly organised and able to manage tasks efficiently
  • Active listening skills and patience in handling difficult situations
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, even under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and general Windows environment
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers
  • A team player who enjoys helping colleagues and contributing to a positive work atmosphere
