JOB- Quality Engineer (Aerospace)
LOCATION- Stansted
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £35,000 to £45,000 per annum
Premier Engineering is currently seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our client's team in Stansted. Our client operates in the aerospace industry, providing cutting-edge solutions and products. They are looking for a dedicated professional to ensure the highest standards of quality across their operations.
The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in the aerospace industry
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering or a related field (BEng, HND, etc.)
- Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards and regulations (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in quality management systems and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
The Quality Engineer role will involve:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems
- Conducting quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with aerospace standards
- Analyzing quality data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to address quality issues
- Reviewing and approving technical documentation and reports
- Managing non-conformance reports (NCRs) and implementing corrective actions
- Providing training and support on quality standards and procedures
- Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding quality-related matters
