The Burford Recruitment Company is seeking a highly efficient and proactive Housekeeper for a large 12-bedroom secondary residence in the beautiful Cotswolds, owned by an UHNW family. This is a live-out position requiring an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home and outhouses, ensuring all areas are spotless at all times
- Polishing, dusting, vacuuming, and laundry care, with specific attention to high-end luxury garments
- Assist with packing and unpacking for the principals as needed
- Uphold strict confidentiality, always ensuring discretion and respect for the family's privacy
- Handle both formal and informal settings with ease, adapting to the needs of the household, whether during private family moments or when guests are present
Requirements
- Previous Housekeeping experience in UHNW households, with a deep understanding of maintaining exceptional standards in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and the capacity to think independently in a dynamic household
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing family plans and requirements on short notice
- Discretion and the ability to maintain the privacy and security of the household
- A valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle due to the remote nature of the location

- Circa £40,000
- 08:30 to 17:30, 5 days per week (flexibility required)
- 1 to 2 weekends per month (time off in lieu offered)
