gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently looking for Maintenance on behalf of a well-known company who provide high-quality products and services to the global electrical community.
Manage and maintain the site Portable Appliance Test compliance schedule. Support the Site Services team by completing assigned Helpdesk tasks in a timely manner, carrying out regular test, inspection, and maintenance activities. Whilst ensuring that the facility is compliant to health and safety standards and working practices.
Contract: Temporary On-Going Contract
Start date: ASAP
Shifts: Monday-Thursday 7.30am - 16:30, Friday 7.30am - 12.15pm
Salary: £14.14 per hour
Requirements:
- Provide first line response to site preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Fault finding and repairs on electrical equipment.
- Installation of electrical plant equipment.
- General maintenance and repairs of building facilities.
- Provide support for statutory compliance schedules.
- Portable Appliance Testing
- HAV testing of power tools.
Essential Criteria:
Essential Requirements:
Time served apprenticeship.
ONC (or equivalent) Electrical Engineering.
Inspection and Testing certificate.
Desirable Requirements:
18th Edition EIT Wiring regs.
Practical experience in mechanical and general building maintenance activities.
