To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Senior DevOps Engineer to come and join our team based at Head Office (LE67 6HS).
As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Ensure the existing design, development, and expansion of a near real-time data platform integrating AWS, Databricks and on-prem JDE systems.
- Maintain and development, CI/CD pipelines for data platform deployment and updates.
- Optimise and manage the data platform to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain platform health and performance.
- Ensure Data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data analyst and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver efficient data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, infrastructure, and integrations.
In order to be successful as our Senior DevOps Engineer, we would ideally like you to be/have:
- Strong expertise in AWS services such as Amazon Web Service EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS and QuickSight
- Proficiency in Databricks and its integration with cloud and on-prem systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and practices for example GitHub, GitLab CI or alternatives.
- Excellent Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
- Experience with on-premises ERP/Enterprise system integrations.
- 5+ Years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering, or a related role
- Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies
